WILLIAMS' CONSULTING

Interests

The most of my life, I have been interested in working with wood, creating wood projects and usually will be heard to tell people that I like sawing big boards into little boards!

This project is actually two desks, mirror image of each other that I created, built and installed in our new house here in Paso Robles, CA.

It actually is not completed yet, as it needs additional shelves/cabinets to wrap around the fireplace to hide all the wires and of course give shelf space.

In the beginning, there was only wood pieces
...and then there is the newer model

The "About Me" page explains my professional duties while employed with BLM and I keep an interest in the survey world. A 1960's era transit is handy for remembering my field experiences and can be used for turning right angles on a wood project, like a large deck.

This is such an instrument and the "younger" set would not know how to set it up and use it.

Naturally it is 40 or so years out of date with the new survey instruments, but served me fine in the 60's.

Thanks to Jason Killpack of Topcon for the picture of the "newer model".
