For those of you who are unfamiliar with the above Manual; the Federal Government has issued Public Land Survey Manuals since the mid-1800's and the above Manual is the current Manual that is the guide for land surveyors in the Federal Government. Most of the Public Land States also have adopted this Manual into their State Statutes and/or State survey regulations and is a guide to the private land surveyors.
